On January 5, 2007 Dick, Neil, Dave, Ken and our lovely
brides, Joan and Brenda, left for New York City, driven up by Dan Stauffer, to stay the night. Saturday Morning
January 6, we left JFK for Grenada. There we met Kerry and Terry Psinus, missionaries to Grenada.
That evening we got settled in and were given a quick course in what we were going to be doing. Sunday AM we left for
a church service with Pastor Williams, a native of the island, and there we participated by singing several songs. From
there we went to Pastor Samuelson's church for a dedication of the new facility that had been damaged by Hurricane Ivan.
There we also sang several songs. From there we went to Pastor Thomas' church where we participated each evening in
evangelistic services, with singing and testimony. Each morning we went out to a different town and passed out Gospel
tracts, and several people came to know the Lord, as in the evangelistic services. We also were shown around the island,
and met with all the local pastors associated with the mission IGM, at their homes. We saw how they lived and were encouraged
by them as we tried to see how they functioned in this beautiful yet somewhat limited enviornment. God surely blessed
us as we hoped to be a blessing to those we ministered to. It was a trip we will never forget, and hopefully has made
a difference in the list of names added to the Book of Life.
